A love story of a woman without hearing and a man who discovers silence
Samuel's life is in shambles. Suddenly finding himself without any money, job or girlfriend, his only hope is his wealthy, slightly crazy grandmother Henriette. She lives on an estate in the middle of nowhere in North Germany, where she runs an agency that makes wishes come true.
But Henriette is going to do anything but give her grandson money without any strings being attached. So Samuel has to stay and help her make other people's dreams come true. In the process he meets Lilian, who has been without hearing since her youth and is now living on the estate with her little daughter. Between them it is hostility at first sight. But Sam learns to come to terms with Lilian's silent world. Moments of happiness follow until Samuel makes a fatal mistake …
For all readers of Meike Werkmeister, Viola Shipman and Anna McPartlin.
