Thea Dorn, born in 1970, studied philosophy and theatre science in Frankfurt, Vienna and Berlin. She worked as university professor and dramaturg. She wrote a series of award-winning novels and bestsellers, theatre plays, screenplays and essays, and hosted the TV show "Literatur im Foyer" ("Literature in the Foyer"). Since March 2017, she has been a fast member of the "Literarisches Quartett" (Literary Quartet).
