Sabine Rennefanz

Sabine Rennefanz, born in 1974, grew up in East Germany and after the fall of the Wall studied political science in Hamburg. She first freelanced as a journalist for the Berliner Zeitung and later became one of its editors and, in 2003, a correspondent in London. She returned to the head office in 2008 and has since been writing on integration and politics. In 2006 Sabine Rennefanz was awarded the Golden Prometheus as the "Newcomer of the Year" and, in 2010, the Theodor Wolff Prize.
