Robin Alexander

Robin Alexander, born in 1975, has made a name for himself as a political reporter and columnist in Berlin. He was a taz editor and reporter for Vanity Fair before joining the Welt group in 2008. He was awarded the prestigious Theodor Wolff Prize in 2013. In 2019, he became the Welt's deputy political editor. His book Die Getriebenen. Merkel und Flüchtlingspolitik was at the top of the bestseller lists for weeks, and formed the basis of the eponymous 2020 ARD docudrama that won millions of viewers.
