Martin Doerry

Dr. Martin Doerry was born in 1955, has a PhD in history and joined the SPIEGEL in 1987. Between 1998 and 2014 he was the news magazine's deputy chief editor. Since then he has been contributing articles on cultural affairs. In 2002 DVA published the biography of his grandmother My Wounded Heart – The Life of Lilli Jahn 1900-1944 and, in 2006 in cooperation with photographer Monika Zucht, the illustrated book At Home Nowhere and Everywhere – Conversations with Holocaust Survivors.
