Hera Lind, born in 1957, studied German language and literature, music, and theology. She was working as a singer when her first novel A Man for Every Key became a sensational bestseller. This novel was followed by many more, among them The Super Woman and The Champagne Diet. With her novels based on true stories she took the Spiegel bestseller list by storm.
