Guido Knopp

Guido Knopp, born in 1948, was an editor of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, head of Foreign Affairs at the Welt am Sonntag and, since 1984, head of the ZDF television contemporary history section. He has received numerous awards, including the European Television Prize, the Golden Lion, the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany and the International Emmy.
