Eberhard Rathgeb

Eberhard Rathgeb was born as the son of German immigrants in Buenos Aires in 1959 and came with his family to live in Germany in 1963. As an editor he was in charge of cultural affairs for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and the newspaper's Sunday edition in Berlin. In 2013 he was awarded the Aspekte-Literaturpreis for his debut novel No Couple Like Us. His highly acclaimed non-fiction book In the Beginning There Was Heimat –Tracing a German feeling was published in 2016.
