Roast pork and the pig trough race, and not a beer stein stays dry
The pig trough race – for some a legendary event on Freudensee Lake in the Bavarian Forest, for others more of a regatta for the rural proletariat. Among the others is Fellinger, a food inspector by trade and amateur detective. Fellinger had originally wanted to join the police force – but that's another story.
Anyway, during the last pig trough race the spoon maker drowned under suspicious circumstances. Tragic. And now the spoon maker's brother has been hired for the catering and it is here that a tourist dies from eating poisoned roast pork. Could the two deaths be connected? Before he knows what's happening Fellinger has ended up in the middle of a new case.
