Julie Lescault - Rosalie and the Scent of Provence

A murder casts a shadow over the idyll of Provence – the temperamental Rosalie investigates.

Life in the small Provençal town of Vassols is a little too tranquil for hairstylist Rosalie's liking. When, however, the idyll comes to an abrupt end with the murder of winegrower Rivas this causes more disquiet than desired. A suspect is quickly found in the form of Bashaddi the Algerian, who used to work for Rivas but was fired.

Yet Rosalie is not convinced of his guilt, unlike the detective inspector in charge of the case. So Rosalie starts her own investigations, finding support in the shy apothecary Vincent and the charming greengrocer Rachid.
