Endearing characters, situational humour and a wonderfully chaotic year in an allotment garden

Single mum Anna should really be working at a picture book about a garden gnome, but more than anything else she wants to get out of her town apartment: construction work in the near vicinity are killing her creativity. Without further ado Anna takes on an overgrown allotment garden.

But the problems Anna is facing are not what she has been expecting. The gazebo has a few surprises in store for her; the chairman of the allotment society is petty; and her sons prefer to play computer games. The only help she gets is from the guy from the next garden – Paul, taciturn and incredibly good-looking. If it weren't for Dr. Sabine Rodenberg, a lawyer and another garden tenant who has claimed Paul for herself … The fight for the garden and love begins!
