Micaela Jary - The Picture of Memories

She is on the search for a missing picture – and discovers a family secret and the love of her life.

A picture by the famous Impressionist painter Leo Reichenstein is offered to a Munich auction house. The young art historian Anna Falkenberg is doubtful as to the authenticity of the picture. Her investigations take her to the Richardson Gallery in London. The attractive Oliver Richardson, who runs the gallery, advises Anna to approach his grandfather Henry, a Reichenstein expert living in Cornwall. Oliver joins Anna on her trip and the two of them get closer.

When Anna speaks to Henry's grandfather she is profoundly unsettled, for the history of the story goes back to post-war Berlin and seems to be closely linked to her own past.

"An intense novel that you won’t be able to put down"
