Miroslav Nemec - The Dead in the Mountain Hotel

Cosy crime at its best!

During a book presentation, actor Miroslav Nemec is to read from one of Henning Mankell's crime novels and take part in a discussion about "Murder in fiction and reality". To this end he makes his way one Friday in August to the "Falconry" hotel high up in the mountains, which can only be reached by cable car. The weekend, however, turns out to be anything but an agreeable occasion. Not only is there a thunder storm, but three guests suddenly die, one after the other. Accident or murder? According to the local police it was an unfortunate combination of circumstances. But Nemec and one other guest, policewoman Bergending, begin to wonder whether there might not be more to it than meets the eye. So detective impersonator Nemec turns into an investigator and faces the risk of making a real fool of himself.
