Bad manners – big heart

The Hutz has followed his new friend to the big town, but twelve-year-old Elvis is anything but thrilled. His form teacher Dr. Pippel is already making life miserable for him and so the Hutz's embarrassing appearance at the Einstein School is just about the last thing he needs.

But it gets even worse. A two-faced television producer has his eye on the Hutz and with evil thoughts in mind has invited him to the grand "Guido Schmalz Show". Blinded by the promise of fame, he falls straight into the trap. Elvis and his best friend, Lena, have their hands full rescuing their hapless friend.

The Hutz…

… is a wild tree hero from the Arboori tribe that also call themselves the Shaggies. His mission is to protect his tree, the Hutz tree standing in Elvis's Granny's garden. The Hutz, however, does not have a very keen sense of responsibility and much prefers to roam around places inhabited by people, camouflaged as a dog. Otherwise he is characterised by bad manners and a big heart.

•Brilliantly told and illustrated
